Sister Wolf and Brother Bear were wandering the forest in search of prey.
Do you wonder?” asked Brother Bear “Why me must hunt humans?”
Sister Wolf chuckled. “Humans are our enemies, that is our nature.” She responded. .
Brother Bear went silent after that.
A few minutes later, Brother Bear and Wolf Sister discovered a cottage, empty.
Sensing humans had resided within the cottage, Wolf Sister and Brother Bear entered it.
Once more Brother Bear asked a question “Humans can build wonderful buildings, yet we live in the forest. Why must we live like this?”
“Humans have forgotten themselves” Sister Wolf responded, “They build houses, arrows, cages, yet they still die to our fangs.”
Once again, Bear Brother grew silent.
The two stalked up the stairs and found a gorgeous room painted in bright blues, inside sat a crib, empty.
“Humans build such beautiful things” asked Brother Bear “Why must we destroy them?”
“Beauty is a human lie” responded Sister Wolf “It conceals the ugliness within”.
Bear Brother almost came to a response before he was silenced once again, not be Sister Wolf but by a creak of a cabin door.
The woman who owned the cabin had entered.
“Finally, something to eat” Sister Wolf declared as she and Bear Brother came to assault the woman.
Ironically enough, the woman herself was a skilled huntress.
With ease she struck an arrow thought Brother Bear, paralyzing him instantly.
Not desiring this fate, Sister Wolf ran to the nursery and throught some strange magic, took the form of a human infant, albeit one with a wolfs face.
Coming to this room, the woman took one look at Sister Wolf and began to cry.
She then held Sister Wolf in her arms.
“Yes” Thought Sister Wolf “It is time to strike”
Yet just before Sister Wolf took her time to strike, the huntress sang a lullaby
“Oh, dear child, lost in the woods At long last you’ll be understood Once again, I shall take you in Your soul, again in my arms”
And with that a sadness washed over Sister Wolf and she became unable to eat.
